past projects
Center Holds It, along with Jeff Bull and Breton Bonnette. The premise was simple: To fill a void that existed in soccer coverage of MLS, USMNT and La Liga. At the time in 2006, soccer was even less mainstream than it is today, thus the need for quality soccer coverage and witty commentary on the sport. Center Holds It grew immensely over it’s first year and was eventually picked up by BigSoccer in 2007, moving CHI to the largest soccer website in America. The site is still maintained by Breton Bonnette.
Queen City Football Club | Director of Media Relations | President/General Manager.
Queen City FC was started by former professional and college players looking for a side to support in the Greater Buffalo area, with the only high level football played in the area being in Rochester with the Rochester Raging Rhinos, and the MLS expansion team Toronto FC in Toronto. In 2006 Ryan joined the club as Director of Media Relations. He quickly was promoted within the club, taking on a more administrative role with the Queen City front office. In July 2007 Ryan was promoted to President/General Manager of the club and secured the survival of high quality soccer in Buffalo by transferring the rights to newly formed Buffalo City FC.
Buffalo City Football Club | Director of Football Operations
Buffalo City FC was founded in 2008 in order to provide the city of Buffalo, and Western New York the best in soccer training and development. We are committed to the Buffalo/WNY community as it shows in our name.
The club was formed out of a necessity for professional soccer in the Western New York area. There are over 60,000 youth soccer players in WNY, but without a professional club to get behind, these players are left having to go elsewhere for high level soccer after they age out of their respective clubs.
Buffalo City FC sold the rights to their NPSL franchise to FC Buffalo in October, 2009.
